Hello - regarding the sectional you asked about, I had a good chat with Eva at Monarch Sofa's, who was very helpful!

Even though they didn't make the actual sofa for our client, they recognized the style of the sectional to be a version of their MONTPELLIER Style which is available in any size, configuration, color and fill.

She explained that all their sectionals are made-to-order to the customer specifications.

I saw the photo she had of the factory version, and I was able to discern that the customization for our client included overstuffed cushions upholstered in a plum colored velvet-corduroy fabric. The decorative nails on the sides of the sofa have been combined with extra nails that run along the bottom of the seating area as well as the inner and outer sofa arms.

I'm waiting to hear back from the homeowner. In the mean time, I believe she visited the High Point Market in North Carolina. I know that it is only open to trade, because our good friend, interior designer, Kristina Crestin went down to the most recent event and was making purchases for some of her clients. It's called Phillips Green.

Our client’s style is naturally adventurous, but she also wanted to pay homage to the history and spirit of the old home by incorporating some classic New England touches. The color was therefore chosen from a palette called the “Historic Colors of America collection”, which was designed by California Paints in conjunction with a regional N.E. heritage organization (Historic New England), and contains authentic shades used from the 1600s to 1895.
