Red oak amaretto flooring

Hi I'm trying to find reviews on the red oak amaretto flooring semi gloss finish. We originally wanted dark floors but decided not to. What are your thoughts ? Do they show all the dents and scratches like dark colours. Would honey red oak be a better choice ? We have 2 kids who turn the house upside down.

Gosh, it's gorgeous. Sorry i don't know the answer to your question, but you're so right about dark floors! Love the look, but between my dark brown LR and my white bath, I feel like I'm cleaning floors all the time!

Just the fact that so much grain variation is seen here indicates better hiding, I would guess. Hope you get some more helpful responses than this though!

It has too much red. Go more neutral . Do a mix of colors from dark to light. Don't do a gloss. Too dated. Maybe distressed look. With the kids and all. Keep looking.
