We are building a custom home in the near future. Our contractor cringed when we told him we were leaning toward Ikea cabinets. Can you share your opinion/thoughts on the quality and installation. They are under the impression it could cost a lot more to put them together and install them and with poor quality. They also said they when they have installed them they didn't not look nearly as impressive as in the showroom??

Would you recommend them?
