I don't really understand why you have one room trying to be both things. You should try to separate it somehow. Or at least have a room divider ready for when you have a guest staying in that room so they aren't staring at that equipment all the time.

I'd say scrap the TVs because they really age the room. Put a headboard behind the bed as well. That should make it a little more comfy by filling up all that white wall space. I don't know what the bed frame looks like, but if it is a proper one then there shouldn't be that sheet hanging over. That is also an older style.

There is a huge mirror behind the workout equipment that would work way better in the room than the tall, narrow one. Frame it and mount that sucker. It will really make the room feel a whole lot bigger.

Also take down that poster over the bed. It just isn't right there. You'll want some sort of poster or painting that is wide. That too makes the room feel larger.

Other than that, just go for color!

Really, it seems you have a workout room, with a bed for occasional guests. I'd paint it a neutral khaki for some interest. Get a duvet cover in a gray/khaki/offwhite stripe. Invest in some nice quality colored sheets. Mount the large mirror if that is something you use. Ditch the dresser/mirror (unless your guests move in for the long haul!) Make sure there is some closet space with available hangers. Find a foldable luggage rack you can bring out and put at the end of the bed when guests come. Hang a piece of more dynamic art in the new color scheme. Ditch extra TV. Put whichever one you use on a simple white shelf/stand piece sized to the width of the TV and put components/etc underneath. Replace lampshade on existing lamp with drum shape, color coordinated. Get a simple alarm clock for guests to use, and create a charging station for phones etc. on the nightstand.

Not sure how often you have guests, but if relatively infrequently, look into a Murphy bed (also known as a wall bed). They're a bit expensive but worth the price being that you save so much space - and, as an added bonus, you can put it away with just a mattress cover and the mattress stays cleaner for longer.

Try the big tv on the big dresser and the skinny mirror over the stand the big tv is on now next to the bed. Slide the chest to the left, Put the long mirror and the nightstand in the corner and move the bed to the left. Use the little stand and smaller tv like a nightstand on the right side of the bed - you can slide that tv to the closet when people come. Make the space you guys use everyday a bit bigger by shifting the bed over and the dresser down. Consider painting the wall that the mirror leans on in blackboard paint so you can keep stats or draw a message for your inspiration or a welcome sign for your guests. It will make it playful and funky - perfect for a hybrid room.

Move the bench to the foot of the bed when guests come. Look for a gray flannel fabric to make a headboard, fabric you pick out at waverly after getting beautiful duvet and sham for your comforter. Write "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" on the wall carefully with a stencil up high where it can stay . . .

Has blue of your art and gray to echo the black and chalkbaord . . . add a charcoal flat quilt and shams folded acrosss the bottom of the bed . . . . charcoal bed skirt - get some rit dye and dye yours. Hang a wide wood shelf over the television the width of the dresser on black iron supports. Put a few things on the shelf - think a few frames leaning, the tulips . . .you might hang a metal birdhouse in the corner over the end table by the bed . ..
Eventually, look for old skinny shutters that you can distress a pale gray and hinge together to make a screen you can put up in front of the corner equipment when guests come.

Agree with many of the previous suggestions. The gym equipment is fine, but if you can afford it get new furniture. Perhaps a sofa bed? Then it will be FIT to show off!
