Don't see anything wrong with it. In fact it looks quite charming. Landscaping the whole front yard so you don't have any grass cut would be my suggestion. Get a pro to help you with this. It will make it outstanding.

I'd suggest perhaps changing the trim from blue to white, to match the existing trim. The panels could change to the blue you like, or keep them the beige color and change the front door to perhaps a warm green or red. Adding flowers will add a welcoming color addition to your landscaping.

Thanks Angel18432 and Jasmin! I appreciate the ideas!!! Jasmin do you think if I painted the door frame and window box with the trim color that it would pull everything together? I obviously can't get rid of the white completely as the windows themselves are still white but I do need to bring some of that color lower to pull the top and bottom sections together better. Thanks for your suggestions!

Bringing the grey trim to the lower section would be the thing to do. Can you do an alteration to the downspouts? For the one on the left, I would paint it out in a color like the brick, just as it makes that run from trim to brick. For the one on the right, I would see if it can be relocated at least to the snug corner, or off the front face altogether (like down the small brick return wall on the right.) Paint the same as left. If you can't paint them out, I at least would get the one on the right off the face. Fresh landscape with plantings that have multi-color leaves (reds/greens/yellows) rather than just green would bring a bit of zip to the front. If you've got the room, two tall, narrow steel gray metal planters on the outside edge of the entry pad, with vertical plants, accented by annuals.

@nwduck I really like the downspout idea. I'm going to look into that. I have removed the downspout a few times to do painting etc and I must say it could use replacing. If I could get away with copper or metal gutter and downspout as well as rerouting it to a side wall I think it would really be added value. I can not relocate the neighbors spouting unfortunately. I also like the idea of framing the door with planters... that has given way to some ideas for bringing the colors down from the top level to the ground level as well. dccamera: Maybe Left Downspout Neighbor would like to paint out his downspout to up the look of his (or her) townhome. You could split the cost of a rental ladder! I am glad my thoughts were of help to you. Happy Houzzing! :)
