Could this space provide a home for a mommy and daughter?

Building a new home in Nevada...daughter is single with a 3 year old...would love to build her a luxury living space above this garage. Would there be a sufficient amount of space for a mommy and a daughter . Would like 2 bedrooms. Mama Bear

Yes, you should be able to create an interesting apartment on the second floor. The area is approximately 1000 sf, but because of the roof pitch, you would have spaces with knee walls. Additional dormers could be added to the rear.
