    Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. The base color is a Ralph Lauren "Whistler Blue" with a clear varnish over the base to create the stripe. Thank you for asking.

    Is there texture on the walls? Does it make a difference if there is?

    Thank you for the question. The walls are smooth. However, I am sure that you could apply a texture while applying the stripes. You would not be able to do the stripes over an existing texture. They would not go on in a straight line.
