Hi,

Can you tell me the original sq ft of the house and how much was added on for the 2nd floor. Did you go over the whole foot print ?

Hi ndamask, This home was originally a 2,208 sf. ranch house. We added 698 sf. on the 1st floor and built an entirely new 949 sf. 2nd floor.

The Living Room/Dining Room has a very high vaulted ceiling as does the Foyer. Where there is a 2nd floor its built into the roof slope and consequently set way back from the 1st floor exterior walls. That's why the 2nd floor is significantly smaller than the 1st floor.

Ellis - the Atherton CA - French Country Style Home- Extreme Remodel 9316, is spectacular. What details regarding the exterior material, finish and color can you provide? Thank you

Hi Bryan, the home has cement plaster cladding with strategic limestone trims, wood windows, and cedar shingle roofing. At this point I couldn't tell you what colors were used.
