Sorry, I'm not sure what the door looks like, but you can get some amazing plastic film panels that stick right to the glass and make it look frosted, like stained-glass in a variety of styles or look bamboo...it's a Home Depot and it's amazing and cheap to cover over windows where you want the light but don't want people to have a view.
