I want to do a little facelift on my very small, newish but pretty unsightly main bathroom. There's not much I can do with it, no room for expansion or changing the layout, and very limited funds right now even if I had room. I would like to paint after replacing the vanity, but I don't know what to do about this combing effect from the previous owner. It's a super-ugly dusty rose on yellow-cream (to match an equally ugly blue, grey, brown and dusty rose swirly laminate counter that is on its way out), and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. It doesn't look half as bad in the picture, actually. It's quite heavily textured to the touch and I REALLY don't want to have to sand it. Has anyone dealt with this?
