I'd choose a light creamy color from your granite. Beautiful space. The curtains look a little out of place color wise. I'd want floor lenght curtains

Don't buy gallons of any color until you've tested sample sizes on your walls. Better waste a few dollars on samples that don't work than paint the whole kitchen a color that's as bad as the harsh yellow.

pitbulls, the red curtains are no longer there.. Those were in the house when we purchased it and it was one of the first items taken out of the house! lol..

Why not choose a little of the cream from the granite and then the dark burgundy/brown fleck (in the granite) as an accent color on the walls or draperies? If you're looking for a backsplash perhaps using the accent color there and using the cream as the main wall color.

The granite has yellowish undertones so try to get a paint that will pick those up. Take a piece of your granite with you. indianpatti usually has great ideas but the paint looks pink on my screen compared to the colors in the granite. It's so hard to tell color on a computer.

Your windows would be better suited for white wood blinds including the glass door.

A nice clean and soft white is CB2 "Cotton" You can have it mixed in Ben Moore if you like. Why not add a woven roman for texture and simplicity at the window. aj~"pure and simple HOME"

-0- pink in "neutral ground" ... it's a newer SW color. Not yellow ... not gray .. hence the name, "neutral ground". Go to Sherwin Williams and take several swatches home with you before purchasing. Think about them for at least a day!

Get a sample of a gray paint, too. Close up shows a hint of gray.

Get the right color for the walls before you decide on any burgandy accent color....I hope you don't mean a burgandy accent wall--no, don't do that.

no... no accent walls.. Im going to stop today after work and pick the paint out.. I tend to use the Behr Premium Plus with primer so I will look over the Behr colors..

I can't stress enough how important it is to get samples sizes and put the paint on your walls to see how it looks in daylight and in the evening with artificial light. Put several paints on several walls in fairly large swatches to get a good perspective on how the whole kitchen will look with the new color.

A linen color would be nice. Almost a white with a hint of brown.
