The pool terrace and coping are blue stone in a random ashlar pattern. The coping at the edge of the pool as well as elsewhere on the terrace is chiseled to create a very natural look. It is one of my favorite materials for outdoor flat surfaces. We actually brought the material inside this house as well to further connect the inside and outside spaces.

What are the dimensions of the covered pavilion?

The pavilion is 18' wide by 21' long. It is important with any design to think about how you want to furnish the space and make sure the design provides for comfortable circulation around the furniture. It is impossible to plan a space, whether inside or out, without keeping the end usage in mind. Hope that helps!
