Kitchen Facelift

Purchased a shortsale a few months ago, original owners did most of the kitchen modifications themselves. We decided we would replace the counters, splurge on the sink, install a backsplash, and paint the cabinets. Still wondering whether we should glaze or not, the original's left a bad taste in our mouth! Let us know what you think, we think it turned out great.

to glaze the cabinets is a good idea, so that the stuff in it is clear.

What do you mean by make things clear because of the glaze?

Love it. Painting the cabinets made a huge difference. I am sure you don't use the vertical blinds. You have a newly updated kitchen that looks great.

Looks so much better! And fresherr. I wouldn't glaze, just add some knobs/pulls.

Thanks for the recommendations, I think were going to hold on the glazing too. Not putting those blinds back up, I'm thinking of a horizontal type blind that I can lower half way if I want. The counter tops are marengo quartz by silestone and the cabinet paint is Chenelle spread.

Love the tile backsplash!! My only suggestion would be to add door hard wear!

It looks like you're going more modern, I agree you should add silver hardware and change your barstools. It looks great so far.
