I'm in reno hell. I have a contractor redoing my bathroom. Everything went fine until it was time to install the Interceramic Interglass 12 x 24 glass wall tiles in smoke. They just keep breaking. Many of them break when the contractor is cutting them, but there are some that break overnight on the walls. The contractor even took them to a couple of other tile installers and they had the same issues. I contacted the supplier and was told that I should expect about 40% breakage (!!!). They said they had never heard of them breaking overnight on the walls.
Is anyone else having trouble with these tiles? Any suggestions? I really love the tile and want to keep it, but at this point I'm looking for alternatives. Any suggestions for a similar alternative that's easier to cut?
