all the walls one colour, make it a lighter colour to draw out the richness of the curtains and the wooden furniture and bring the drapes up to floor length. the 2" fall makes it look store brought.

im thinking a nice cream or tan, do you have a few swatches or a link to the paints at your preferred store? i live in australia so not sure what is available to you. Think similar to the cream (?) fabric on your chairs or the lighter tan that is in your curtains. or a few shades ligther even.
