what color floor? what colors are in the rooms next to the kitchen? What style are the cabinets--modern or traditional? Are they pure white or off white? I think a cream or tan quartz countertop looks great in a white kitchen. Some people like the contrast of black but I find a black countertop difficult to keep clean and prefer a light surface for working on. My new white kitchen (modern, shiny bright white cabinets) will have a cream quartz like this.
