lighting finishes

Challenged with selecting lighting fixture finishes. We are building a contemporary mountain home. Using chrome fixtures in the baths and kitchens but wanting to use bronze finishes for lighting fixtures. will this look odd?

    Hello,

Mixing and matching fixture styles & finishes in the home is a great way to add a designer look to your home! With so many styles and fixtures to choose from out there, we would certainly suggest that mixing and matching is a great idea. After all, you wouldn't choose the same paint colors for every room-- so why be limited to keeping the same theme with light fixtures throughout the home? Go with your instinct, and if you need any help searching further please feel free to contact us.

    Thank you,

It's not a terrible thing to set some limits before you start like say a mix of several possible fixture finishes like steel, natural finished wood, leather. You can tweak as you get further along in your planning. Some fixtures already have a material blend within a single fixture anyway.
