My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

      Is it possible to get the name of the builder or flooring contractor?

      This floor is a prefinished hardwood. You can tell by the bevels. White Oak would take a stain beautifully and your installer could match this up pretty well for a site finish. That stain reminds me of Special Walnut or Early American.

      Thank you for your reply. We are building a traditional house in Lexington, VA. This color looks pretty. I want a dark color, 5 in' flooring. I love walnut wood and have seen one color called "coffee" which is pretty. Brazilian cherry is pretty but I don't want a color that is too reddish. I am thinking of prefinished. Can you tell me what would be the cost per sf.?
