Looks nice! I would maybe mix up the curtain panels by either bringing in a pattern or mixing up the textures just to bring in some visual interest. It's a wall of fabric where you can treat it like a wall if art. And maybe something tall and see through by the end table where the dining room begins like a glass floor vase with sticks in them. You know what, a big floor to ceiling mirror that rests on the floor would be perfect. Lovely open space. Love neutrals because you can always bring in color through curtains, pillows and other accessories. Enjoy your new space!

Hello Seattle staged to sell..thx for your advice you are right I don't like rugs under the diningroom table..it's where you eat and food often spills on it..I know it's the in thing but to be honest I always think it looks out of place unless it's on a wall to wall carpet,,

I do like the idea of a tall vase or even a plant or something at the end of the side table leading into the dining room area..as long as it doesn't cause clutter I hate clutter ..bksavy

I was thinking of getting a large open book shelf as a room devider between the lounge and dining room what do you think ..bksavy

I'd love to see you remove at least one of the mirrors and replace it (or them) with art. Even a more interesting mirror would be an improvement. Agree that a rug would look good under the dining table.

The bookshelf is a good idea too. Have to be careful about what style. Something too heavy will look clunky and prevent light from reaching your dining area. It would have to be a shelving system with an open back and maybe not dark brown. Maybe a washed ash gray finish or lighter color.

Oops. You did say "OPEN". Sorry. I think that would work. You have a good eye. You will make the choice that's best for you.
