Can you tell me how easily this panels pull open and closed? I am wondering about this as a possibility for a beach house on Eleuthera.

Because of the lightweight nature of both the rope and cotton panels, the curtains draw closed easy enough. While they will never glide like true hardware, in this case the curtains were only going to be drawn on some nights.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I shared the photo with my contractor, who will be installing the hardware and he thinks that it might work. I'm planning to do some research on roping, as we do need the panels to be able to move smoothly and easily. The panels on the sliders (middle two doors as opposed to the two fixed exteriors doors) will need to be pulled closed regularly and certainly when we aren't using the house. Thanks for sharing this terrific idea!
