I don't think so. I think the website has covered just about every topic available, but I do think chook chook should have her own show.

Pretty much the only "no" votes are from people who don't watch TV. So it seems clear that TV watchers among Houzz members are starving for good programming.
Some really great comments have been made about the shortcomings of current HGTV programming. I especially liked the comment that a show with 28 minutes of makeover and 20 seconds of showing the end result is extremely frustrating. A new channel could do a lot better. I do agree that the realities of advertising revenue would probably put pressure on any new channel to show the reality schlock everyone else is showing. But at least we can dream.....

HGTV is stuck - so tired of being told your home is second rate if you don't have yellow walls, stainless steel, granite countertops, hardwood floors, or an open floor plan. I would watch Houzz if you bring it back for the common person!

Absolutely. I am ready to watch it now. HGTV needs a make over. Their shows are not realistic. Too much drama. Too much focus on people and not enough on design. I cannot wait for Wednesday and Sunday to read your newsletters. In fact I spend at least an hour a day on Houzz. My husband would tell you I spend three hours a day. Go for it.

You are asking that question to people who love interior design and are fed up with House Hunters, House Hunters International, buying Beachfront property or Hawaii property, I don't watch HGTV at all anymore because I am not interested in programs that are scripted and no longer deal with interior design. I truly don't care which house these people choose.

Wood wrights, like myself, will flock to something like that, many of us are currently working hard to keep the craft alive. YouTube is sadly now "gooder" than the DIY network etc.

Yes! There's a program in the UK called "Grand Designs" so i expect it to be a little like that but perhaps more focussed on the interior.

A hard yes without knowing the show outline. No scripted Property Brothers (any version), House Hunters Renovation no show where the design plan is to "knock down all the walls and create a BIG kitchen island". As others have said throw out the HGTV model. High and midsize budget builds and design solutions. Combine garden, hardscape and home design and build information. Please, please, please give consideration to Fair Trade materials, recycled resources and I'd LOVE to see a show which highlighted a demolition crew taking out usable material donating said material to Habitat for Humanity or getting in touch with a recycling center. It kills me to watch the PB's and their ilk take sledge hammers to anything and everything in their path without care or concern for what goes into land fills or could be reused by sustainable & low income home builders. No show provides information on this subject yet your site often highlights design using reclaimed resources.

A lot of what I'd like to see in a show has already been mentioned. This Old House was a great model, Sarah's House as well. No screaming show hosts, show created deadlines for dramatic effect, scripts which control the repetitive language of the participants i.e. dream home, spa retreat when referring to a master bath (it's a bathroom...in you're home...the kids are still banging on the bedroom door and the toilet is still staring you in the face), en suite, upgraded stainless appliances (just because it's stainless doesn't mean it's top quality), dream quartz counter tops (done to death, better, newer materials), dream anything and everything.

Yes I'd watch Houzz TV. The question you probably want the answer to is would I pay for Houzz TV, I'd want to test the content. NETFLIX may be the way to go if your production values are high.

I agree with Jeri, Make it a combination of this old house, Christopher Lowell, the old design on a dime-not the $2000 wonder they have today, the lady who was on at the same time at Christopher (brain burp again, sorry) . a little martha stewart is good too. yes, it can incorporate that fab thing they had before i left fl 15 years ago, where they actually sold the house parts, including landscape, before they tore it down. In every state, show us cool places to get things, with names and cities. not just go to your local metal working shop, where is that? Also, all my shows come from the net, I have never paid for cable, never will. When they changed the tv, the entire southern part of DE and Eastern shore of MD lost NBC, so make it somewhere we can actually watch it, like PBS. Have good diys in it. A quality show with lots of variables. This could be on forever i think.

Yes! I most definitely would! But there needs to be more of a balance between budgets. Not only million dollar homes, but a level more achievable instead of just a Wish List. :-)

I can’t stand any of the rehab phony Unreal REAl estate shows...knock down walls..big island kitchens. Used to see a few good interior dedigners but not on my cable service now. So .. yes. hOUZz style Tv! And puleeezzzz. Gardening too and not all only reflecting gatdens as outdoor “decor”. Thoughtful ideas for people who know it is “habitat” for all of US living “ critters.

I'd watch Houzz TV in a heartbeat & yes kinda tired of HGTV although I still watch Fixer Upper. Probably because we are about to embark on a whole house reno. So I personally would be interested in something construction oriented but with varying design styles. Most of the HGTV shows focus on one style only.

Yes! I would watch Houzz TV. it has to be realistic though. I do watch hgtv however feel like the remodels can’t possibly be done by the price they say. We live in an older home and have done remodel projects and they are always more expensive than anything on hgtv..
