We want to go with dark walnut for countertops in our new kitchen but not for the oversize island where a 36" sink is located. We love Taj Mahal quartzite. Could we use it for the island? Cabinets are custom built with a cream glaze, island is custom built with an olive tone. White subway tile backsplash. Floors are hand scraped pecan. We've been told to keep counter tops and island consistent but we love both walnut and Taj; would like to use both! Any comments greatly appreciated!!!
