What kind of floors are these?

    I think they are Character Grade Hickory floors. Very strong to resist foot traffic and pets alike. We have made several similar floors this year up to 8" wide. joel@oakandbroad.com

    I believe the floors are white oak.

    Here is a 10" Character White Oak floor with Cabots "Bittersweet" stain applied. We made it for a client in Birmingham. While it does look similar the distinctive heartwood and sapwood portions of the above floor make me think Hickory, however I could certainly be wrong :-)

    Cornerstone Architects is correct about this Cat Mountain project - they are white oak with a very light wash on top.
