Tree in family room. I collect ornaments from when we travel. Have some from Denmark, Colorado, New York, Chicago etc. also clown ornament given to me many years ago from a local artist.

Here is our little tree - it is potted so we can plant it and enjoy it all year. I had a dilemma with the tree topper, so my husband came up with this. Our tree has lots of bears so he had some climbing to the top - I gave him a hug for that! Merry Christmas!

Here is mine- after the fact. It is slim- pre-lit and filled with my favorite ornaments old and new. Including my hummingbird sent by my older sister in memory of our younger sister whom we lost 1 year ago on the 23rd of December. thanks for letting me share.

One last look at this thread before we take ours down- DW is bummed at putting away Xmas.

my fresh cut table top tree is my favorite...and any of my ornaments from Nantucket are my favorite because we got married there. :)

My red and cream Beautiful tree.

Mine is a collection of ornaments that started 34 years ago. It's a mix of all kinds of ornaments. Some are gifts I've received, some are things that I've inherited and some were bought as souvenirs from trips. I have them all written down in a little red ledger book so I know where they came from. Funny note about my tree is that I didn't realize that I had bought a rotating stand until I got it all put up that first year! But, I love it! Makes doing the lights and ribbon super easy. You just stand in one spot and wait for just the right spot for each ornament! Each year it's a trip down memory lane and remembering friends and family who contributed to the collection but are no longer here. Bittersweet.

Our favorite tree, pictured here is in our gathering room. Wool garland, hydrangea from the yard, pine cones, and straw do our best to warm up this artificial tree. A collection of hand blown glass balls sparkles from our travels and annual Christmas gifts from our youngest son. A 3 decade collection of cookie cutters, vintage kitchen tools along with blown glass light covers and some children's favorites fill the boughs. It is one of several trees throughout our home, each with a unique theme from Snow to Seuss!

I have more of a "less is more" eclectic approach to holiday decorating. Here are my lovely little christmas trees

I've been collecting Christmas tree decorations for the past 30 years. I find it tricky to get a balance of colour usually but this year I split the baubles into different colours which meant they could be spread more evenly over the tree. It took 3 hours to dress the tree but everyone who has visited so far loves it! There's been one small problem though - our Bengal cat, Coco, keeps pinching the baubles off the tree!! This is actually from last year, but it looks just like this year's tree.

Probably best view. It's in our parlor/sitting room.

This year we traveled to the mountains and hunted for pinecones for ornaments. We made great memories and carried the pinecone theme throughout our home :) Our angel tree topper was one of our first decorations that we bought after moving to Mexico. Still haven't found a lighted angle but I gave this one new ribbon and wings this year. (what a shame the site can't fit the entire photo) I hope to collect enough ornaments to finish decorating our entire tree next year! 9 1/2 feet is a lot for me to handle. We took the tree out November 1st and I took a week to decorate it. Merry Christmas!

And finally my white, silver and orange tree is topped off with ... a penguin!

I haven't had a tree for several years, and this year, due to a move in which all my tree ornaments have disappeared, plus 3 months of health issues which saw me in hospital for 19 days over Thanksgiving, I didn't even get my artificial garlands put up and decorated. :(
Hopefully post-Christmas markdowns will still be available after New Year's, and I can find at least a FEW replacements so that next year's decor will once again be festive instead of all but completely missing. (I've got some candles out, and skates with artificial poinsettias hanging on the door in place of my missing jingle-bell wreath, so it's not a completely unfestive home, just mostly.)

Here's my tree. I used to get fresh tree every year. Decided to change to artificial tree and I love it.

Hand made Pine cone tree with origami star. I didn't put ornaments on it because I felt the pine cones were pretty enough to be the ornaments! Merry Christmas!!

Trying to recreate my grandmothers Christmas tree I used all vintage 50s ornaments. My favorites are the ones she loved the most.

This ornament belonged to my grandmother. It's one of the old-fashioned European glass ornaments. Loses a little color every year but still my sentimental favorite.

We love Christmas in my house. It's just my son and I and I try to make sure that the Christmas season is always extra special. So these are pics of our tree this year and last.

Most memorable ones are my kids handmade ornaments that I've collected over the years. Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy new year filled with laughter!
