Hi Chase,

I have a few suggestions that may be helpful.

First, the lawn area would be the biggest challenge. Your soil looks a bit rocky and could probably use an amendment. Before you seed or put down sod I would recommend adding some organic compost to the soil. Even if you don't do grass that would help with any future planting you do.

Next, your driveway looks a little narrow. You could add a paver border along the right side from the street to the front of the house. This would give you some extra space and enhance the look of the driveway. You could even replace the entire walkway and just do pavers to tie everything together. I would suggest either Calstone or Belgard pavers. Our customers have been happiest with either of these two brands. (Not sure what part of the country your in, find a local paver dealer to get some ideas.)

Lastly, some small low level planters in front of the home would add a nice touch. You could make these from garden wall/retaining wall. They are easy to work with and can go up in a weekend (Photos below). As far as what to plant I'm not an expert. Perhaps something evergreen, or with color and easy to maintain. Boulders and stones also add an interesting element to your landscape.
