Very pretty room.

I think it looks incomplete because there isn't anything to draw the eye such as some pictures of other art work on the walls. A panoramic picture of something bright that you love would look great above the bed. I would add another picture or two on the left side is by the chair.

Need some fun yellow artwork.

This is a lovely start! How about some tall mirrors behind the lamps to reflect the cozy light? And definitely some art to add interest yet still keep the serene feeling. You need some accessories that draw the eye up and if you are okay with plants I would try one near the dresser or the chair.

I'd exchange the linear mirror over the dresser for a round or oval one to break up all the squares. Longer drapes hung floor to ceiling on a decorative metal rod would smooth the look at the windows. Put them on both sides of the windows to help soften some of the edges - just covering the frames. A table and footstool with the chair, plus a nice print on the wall behind it would complete that area. A group of framed pieces above the bed would be nice. I don't think the two wicker trunks are doing much at the foot of the bed. Eventually, when budget allows, a large rug to pull half way under the bed would look good.
