What is your decorating style? Ancient European transitional MMM budget ? Or plain?

How about a photo and art gallery wall? Notice the all of the photo frames have a white matt for a stylish/cohesive look.

Mask collection, plates, a series of hanging sashes, Chinese paintbrushes, painted plastic animal toys in one colour and framed... How eclectic do you want to go?

Much better to frame preserved doughnuts. It will tie in the hole look.

If you are from the south, it would definitely become a picture gallery....of your family and kids

A large painting with a vertical orientation. Approx 3'-4' x 5'-6'. This looks like a large volume space. A lot of little things grouped will look messy and get lost in the vastness of the space. Also, consider painting the hand rail gloss back or staining it Jacobean. Drama.

Maybe you could put shelves to hold photos, cute figurines, plants, etc. or simple paneling.
