My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Hello. Love the bathroom. We are renovating a small bathroom off the living room. We recently refinished the living room floor with engineered wood as we live on a lake. I wanted to extend the wood floor into the 2 piece bath but my husband seems to think that is not a good idea in a bathroom. Opinions please. Thank you

    The wainscoting is just 1 x 4 with a cove molding inside each square. The flat inside panels are either wall board painted to look like they are wood or they are flat top grade wood plywood like a Birch or MDF. I don't recommend MDF in any wet areas they swell.

      A quality polyurethane based sealer will protect a wood floor in the typical two-piece bathroom. This finish will generally have to be applied several times, paying special attention to the seams. We generally do not recommend pre-finished wood flooring as seams would be more vulnerable to water damage.

      IKEA, wow, amazing! Cool looking compact sink. Unfortunately, they don't carry it anymore. At least not here in the U.S. Too bad. Need to find an alternative for a client.

      I just purchased the Lillangen sink today at the Ikea in Maryland and it is also available on-line for delivery. Please check the website for availability in your area.
