Our new house will have medium grey siding, white trim. 30" of hand stripped lattice work will be below the veranda deck, and cedar bead board on the veranda ceiling. Eventually the decking will be stained. I originally planned on white for the lattice and ceiling but am now thinking that white will make the lattice work stand out too much (and harder to keep clean) and as you can see from the picture as you approach the house you can see a lot of the underside of the roof...lots of white! I'm thinking of a darker grey for the lattice and a really light grey under the veranda roof. Too many greys? We don't care for natural cedar, by the way...thanks for any thoughts!
