Hello! I can empathize! I'm also "working on re-doing my master bedroom". Mine is still in progress! I really like your pattern in the first picture on the left. Very pretty. I also like your idea of the blue pattern curtains in the center picture. I don't know about the plain blue curtains on the right. I do notice the two patterns look to have a white background. I am wondering if the two patterns can get along since the scale is different. I think I would try the patterned curtains and see how that looks. If you don't like them, return them right away.

I like the the bedding, but it may be too busy with comforter and shams, can you post a picture the walls and bed.

Here is a picture of the bedroom with the blue wall. I had found fabric in the same color as the headboard and used those as a mock-up for drapes or roman shades (wasn't sure at the time). I could keep what I have, however, feel I need to embellish the window treatments somehow and still throwing around the type of treatment. The roman shade would be similar to a version of what I have posted below. Since the picture was taken, I've added more colorful pillows (orange, gold, blue) that what are there and there isn't as much of the white quilt showing.

Hi there! Your bedding is so pretty - very nice choice! It does look like that wall needs a nice bold color to really show off the headboard, and also to pick up on the colorful bedding. It would be a shame to turn it all back to beige. Since you don't like blue, have you considered pulling another color from the bedding pattern? There are so many to choose from. My choice would be a green. It doesn't even have to match exactly. Pretty much any green with a yellow base should work - olive, moss, chartreuse even.

Thanks for the extra pic. The room is looking good. Was going to suggest beige drapes, and I like the panels better than roman shades. I would keep the blue accent wall. Think changing the navy pillow out would look better, try a blue similar to the wall. Also try pulling the night table closer to bed. How do you feel about changing out the lamp, something about the glass base, doesn't work in front of window, try a solid base.

I personally like large white window framing but you have a different style home. You will most likely spend most time there in the evening or night so I would have good lighting and kept your chosen colors, maybe all you need is a white rug and a chandelier, lol

Maybe the blue is just too dark. Maybe a lighter blue, or use your beige and maybe white curtains.

If your room is actually as dark as the photo, I would go lighter on any color you choose, but not much. I would do green, my favorite, and I would not do an accent wall. Just a personal preference. I love your bedding, and the room looks very nice. Also, I like the shade idea. Looks neater.

Teambell, The first color is Dill Weed by Ben Moore. The second and third are Burlap and Hearts of Palm, both Sherwin-Williams. It wouldn't be hard to find a green that harmonizes well with your other walls.

I , too, like the bedding and the blue wall. I would focus your energy on settling the curtain dilemma. The panels seem to work better in my opinion.

Use the plain blue drapes, the bedding has enough pattern. Plain for balance.

Love all the colors and the print of the bedding. I would think about picking up one on the rust or orangish tones from the pattern since it is a color that would work well with the blue. (although I also am partial to green). For the window treatment have you thought about doing a tailored type valance using the shape of the headboard and then just using roller blinds that would hide up under the valance? Another option would be to add a trim to the valance in a complimentary color or maybe getting another set of pillowcases and using that fabric for a band of trim on a valance. I think the panels make the space look crowded - and would go for the more tailored lines of roman shade if that is something you like as well. The wood frames on the windows look very nice and with the panels that would be covered up.

Jane - would you do a cornice board with the shape of the headboard or an inside mount roman shade with that shape? Trying to see your vision.

grobby - Never thought about the lamp base until you mentioned it. I agree, it gets lost in front of the window. I think I could add some fun color there.

I think I would do the inside mount roman shade with that shape - the window frames are nice looking and if the color of the wall should change the wood is still a very nice feature on it's own.
I think a cornice board would add more "visual weight" to the room. Not sure how large the room is altogether, but that might be a something to think about too.
