My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How wide is this room?

I'm interested in including a fireplace in my dinning room and there are concerns over being to close but this looks like good spacing.

    Hi,
    As you can see from the photo, the owners do use this fireplace. They had over 25 guests I believe at Thanksgiving in this room for dinner . Personally, I have found that a clearance of a minimum of 3 feet is acceptable. Of course, you don't want to build a huge fire so people start peeing off clothing. I will contact the owners to find out how far this fireplace actually is from where one would be seated at the table and get back to you. Thank you for your interest.

    Appreciated, I am planning on having 4 feet from the table. But was concerned about the temperature given the clothing removal reasons mentioned :)
