We have a large gas fireplace with a custom mantel which we love love however the drywall is drab. Looking for some ideas, cost effective solutions. I was thinking faux brick but from what I've read on here doesn't sound like people are in to the red brick. What about mosaic? I'd like to see something with texture......and somewhat "easy" to install as I'm sure we'll DIY. Thanks so much!!
