Lovely style, you must be so pleased. I see the items on your sideboard spread out a bit more, or a large mirror above that is landscape shaped, instead of portrait, and maybe a nice lamp on it.
In the other dining room photo, a shallow sideboard, or console in white, to keep simple or display the gorgeous items that might go on the dinner table when you have guests like silver tureens, or candelabra, etc. Will you have a rug of any kind under the table, or leave it open floor?

Order pottery barn double, linen color, hang to ceiling as a stationary mock drapery. The mirror is hung too high. Accent your table with some real plants.

I suggest that you put a sideboard under this mirror to anchor it on the wall. A large, heavy mirror hanging on a wall with nothing under it seems off balance. Also, a rectangle mirror over a sideboard often looks better if it is hung vertically to one side instead of centered horizontally.

I thought about a rug,do you think I need. Should I do drapes or not.

Mirror frame color, a soft not shinny gold. It will pick up the family portrait in the hall. That picture needs to be lowered too. :)

In the dining room under where the other mirror is. Ideally a wide 72" 18"deep console, with a equally wide picture or mirror. Remove the sconces. Get some Kentia palms on each side with some floor up lights for night time drama.

If you are not attached to the hanging chandelier, remove that and have you electrician in stall low voltage light with 20 w bulbs, also two more to high light the large art above the new console that you are going to get..ha ha. I'm giving design advise when I can't sleep,

What color are those walls? It appears sueded and a special painting technique. Could it be a trick of the lighting?

Under the large mirror, I'd like to see a glass top on a metal frame -- something long and relatively shallow to act as a buffet. Is there an opening over the console -- like a passthrough? What is on the other side of the wall?

If you put up a curtain, semi-sheer would be lovely if you don't have a privacy issue.

Maybe an urn with pussywillow or natural branches would look nice in an empty corner or a ficus tree if you have enough light.
