Are you right-handed or left-handed? :) Honestly, in our house, everything seems to be customized for lefties, and being right-handed, I find it very annoying. (Especially the most used door--the garage entry door. It's all wrong, and I curse it every day.)

I always go with whatever will hide the toilet paper best from your entry sight lines. (Despite both my husband and I being right handed, we have placed the toilet paper on a holder mounted on the left wall so it is not visible from the hallway or right as you walk into the bathroom).

Agree with chook2. In your case I think the cabinet as it is discreet and hidden and easy to reach. Just promise no Barbie doll long skirt item to hide the second roll

No Barbie doll anything. Live in a house of men. The man of the house doesn't want to put holes in the side of the cabinet. Yay - guess I will have to use persuasion or blackmail.

Or threaten him with the barbiedoll mk!

And my oldest son is a leftie. Everyone else in the house is right handed.

The hanger will be the most stable being mounted on the cabinet. Tell those men they'll just have to adjust...... :)
