The TV flat out overpowers the fireplace and the entire room. You have chosen to put your rooms 2 focal points(TV & Fireplace) on 1 wall, however you also have a red accent wall. 1 focus is the general rule albeit not always practical Where's the coffee table? Some art would be nice on select walls. That TV looks really scary in this picture!

Red is not a good color for this space. Maybe russet, but actually it looks too small to do an entire wall in color. Just the space on each side of the FP would be enough accent. I dont like the TV over the fireplace as it is over-scaled and hides the lovely colors of your slate tile. The red is also too strong and perhaps an apricot or melon tone would be more pleasing. The space planning is wrong and perhaps the TV would be better placed on the accent color wall with smaller scaled furnishings. The area rug colors are patchy and compete with the fireplace. I would find a more textural area rug that would be appropriate to the scale of the final furnishings selected.

The wall color is also too stark and requires a darker tone such as taupe or light cafe.

I agree with the other comments and think you have too many focal points. The fireplace is also a little awkwardly located in this long, narrow room (fireplaces on the long axis of a room is a pet peeve of mine) and furnishing this room is always going to be a challenge. Nevertheless, you are locked into the focal point at the end of the room so I would tone down the competition with the red wall.
