My Mom has recently had a massive stroke in the middle of building her home. Prior to her stroke, this kitchen was her #1 inspiration piece. As her daughter, I'm now trying to pick up the pieces to complete her dream home. What type of wood and stain was used for this oven hood? Also, what type of tile was used for the backsplash. And lastly, I'm assuming that the island countertop is a butcher's block material? If so, is it maple or otherwise?
Any information would be so greatly appreciated during this difficult time for our family.

Hi, I hope your mother is on her way to recovery. The hood was build of Alder. Rysso Peters of Scottsdale was the cabinet builder and they applied a custom finish.Call Rysso and speak to Stephen. (480)946-0088. He can help you. The back splash is old european pavers. The company I purchased from is no longer in business. Google antique pavers. The inset tile is from Tabarks studio.com .
