We have a mudroom that is 9 by 7. I have a 5ft wall and an 8ft wall for storage. I'd like a bench & hook area and some cabinets. If I use regular ikea base cabinets the 24 inches take up too much space. Any creative shallow storage ideas. I'd like some closed shelving for overflow kitchen items and possible a countertop area. Any suggestions welcome! Ceilings are min 80 inch (2 bulkheads).
