want to build and install waincoting

want to build and install wainscoting in my house. so many pictures show wainscoting through out the house. want to know where i can buy a router bit set to make the edge profile. just looking for a radius or bead as seen in many pictures on this site. or are these applied mouldings that are being used? thanks for any help

Most home improvement stores would have a variety of router bits to choose from. These can be a simple detail applied on site or pre-fab as mentioned.

Unless there is a specific profile that you want, the trim found at most stores is perfect for wainscoting. Very easy. Measure twice, cut once! Enjoy and post pictures.

It depends on what type of wainscoting you want to do. Most shadow box wainscoting is done with "base cap" moulding, and then whatever profile chair rail you wanted to add. Hope this helps.
