Hi - I agree, don't paint these - you can't sand them in order that new paint would adhere for a long period of time. I've tried repainting these and it's a lot of work for not much of a payback.

They are laminate; you can use "melamine" paint if you wanted to change the color. You could ad stiles and rails to the flat panel to change them to a recessed panel look; but it would probably look weird, since these are a specific style, that a lot of people are familiar with. It's a lot of work.

These cabinets have a recessed slot and oak trim. Not just a flat panel that would accept a facing. Potential buyers will see these cabinets in other units, and know them for what they are.

I think this is a good example of when to replace only the doors. I know you don't want to spend a lot, but if you are going to try selling this condo it is as the saying goes: you have to spend money to make money.

If you absolutely can't afford to replace even the doors, take one to the paint store, have the color matched and paint all of the parts that are wood that color. Prime first of course, but don't paint the odors. As everyone else said, it won't change the look for all of the work it would take to paint the doors. Then, get some hardware. I know they have none now because it is built in to the edge, but to update them you need to get some handles and pulls onto them.

^^^ That's what I was going to suggest, I ordered replacement doors for our linen cabinets, and painted the box the same white to match. It was a great compromise, not to hard or expensive(of course that's always subjective)

I think these are a good candidate for the Rustoleum Transformations kit. I suggest using a colour other than brown, nixing the glaze option, and re-painting the walls to coordinate. Whether you apply as handymam has suggested , or do the entire surface, the process will be streamlined and the project less expensive than purchasing separate components.

I like the idea of getting new doors. Where would I buy these or would I need to have them made? Thank you to everyone for their comments
