I know my response is ages after you posted, but here goes: Our faucet was installed less than a week ago. I had the white Rohl sink grid in the original packaging and box since it was purchased a while ago. Yesterday I noticed an orangey sort of stain on the plastic near the drain hole. So I decided to clean it. Wouldn't come off, then I noticed a yellowish much bigger stain in the outer left hand upper edge. Then I noticed a cut in the vinyl. Wow! I called Rohl, who did say that they would replace it. This was after the first rep told me that someone must have dropped a knife on it. She also announced quickly, "I have to go now." and hung up on me! Pretty impressive for this high end, supposed great quality company. While taking photos to send over to Rohl, I saw that the nick actually extended around the edge and through to the bottom, not as a nick, but more an opening from the manufacturing process.

I had $20. grids from Bed, Bath and Beyond prior to our move, renovation, and stepping up to a Rohl farmhouse sink. Never had these issues.

I was informed by Rohl that the grid should be placed in sunlight to bleach out any stains. I was also told that if we are cleaning out tomato sauce or coffee, or other colored foods to remove the grid beforehand to avoid staining it.

That is just plain nuts for a grid that costs $150.

Has anyone else had issues with this grid?

Yes! I’m on my third—and LAST—Rohl rack! I need the @*#@* rack in the sink when I’m washing dishes! What good is the rack if I have to remove it when I need it???

Had the same issue. I finally told Rohl it was defective, as I knew I hadn't misused it. They replaced it with a stainless one.

Yes, me too, Rohl just replaced the white piece of garbage that they call a high end product with their stainless version. I gave up on the idea of having the grid match my white sink, white faucet, and white countertop island. No longer worrying about stains. The white plastic ended up peeling off around the middle of the sink, where it got the most use. This is a product for a household that never uses the sink.

I have the white grid from Rohl and it was stained with tomato sauce. Put some soft scrub on and let it soak for about 20 min. Stain came right out. Fixed Nick with some bathroom calking.

Can you put the stainless steel grid in the dishwasher If you take the protective side bumpers off of it (which most have fallen off down the drain anyway)?

The stainless steel grid is so much better than the white one. Rohl will send new rubber feet if you call to request them. I’ll try putting it in the dishwasher! Thank you

I have the stainless steel Rohl grid. It’s real funky on the underside (dirty) and hard to clean. Please post how yours does in the dishwasher! Thx.

have The stainless steel grid for two years, I take the plastic feet bumpers off and put in dishwasher. No issues!
