I was looking at the Allia for quite a while... I am now going with the brand new version by Kohler...It is the cast iron Iron tones, K5707 . Thank you for your feedback. How is you Allia sink working out today ?

We have had a Rohl Allia undermount fireclay sink (31.5") in our remodeled kitchen since December, 2015 (almost 5 years now). It is used every day for pots and pans and all kinds of dishes and silverware. All surfaces are as beautiful, shiny and white as the day it was installed. There are no stains of any kind, no cracks or damage. Besides rinsing down debris regularly, we clean it about once a week with Soft Scrub Cleanser (never with anything abrasive) and a strong nylon brush.

We do have a Rohl Sink Grate (white vinyl coated) that sits at the bottom of the sink to minimize constant wear. The grate is also almost good as new. See current photos below. We love our Rohl Allia fireclay sink.

I replace cast iron sinks regularly. The bottoms wear out. Yesterday's job:

I have had the sink 5 years with no such problems. It has one small mark from dropping something. My main issue is the amount of water it takes to get bits into the drain. Being white everything shows. Other than that, I've loved this sink.

I've had my Rohl Allia fireclay sink for 10 years now. Still looks as new as it did the first day. I do have the stainless steel grid- which I think is essential!

Any new thoughts on rohl fireclay?

I purchased and had installed Rohl 6307 in Dec 2025. Within 3 months it has pinhole size pitting. I didn’t use abrasive cleaners and protected it with rubber sink mat when washing pots/pans. I’m sorry I purchased it. I should have stayed with a cast iron porcelain sink which I had for 30 years. I doubt this Rohl will last that long. I don’t recommend it.
