I have a island that I need to get the exact measurements of but I want 2 Murray Feiss chandeliers 30 inches in D and the person in the lighting store said for my island which is 8 ft by 4 ft and 10 feet high ceiling would be too large. These chandeliers I love the size of how big is this island?

      I asked someone in the lighting store they felt the chandelier would look to heavy and I should look into a different finish and a bit smaller

      In my opinion the the Murray Feiss chandelier used over this island is a bit to large. You could use the 6 light version of the same light that is only 29" wide Murray Feiss F2228/6ATS It can be purchased here http://www.mylightingsource.com/Murray_Feiss_F2228_6ATS_p/mf.f2228-fslash-6ats.htm

      I think the chandeliers look amazing!! I love the color and the size. They really make the kitchen "pop"! I think the height of the ceilings (12 ft) allow for the size to look great.
