My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Cabinet size and ceiling height

Can you tell me the size of cabinets and ceiling height? I'd love to do something similar but i have 8 ft ceilings.

    Thanks so much Brigitte! The drawer fronts/ cabinet opening sizes are approximately 10.875" wide. We minimized the number of cabinets and built as many as possible together to reduce the number of stiles (vertical fixed partitions) in the cabinet face frames to maximize the actual usable cabinet space in the inset cabinetry.

      Kurt (the contractor on this project) is correct. The ceilings were right around 8 feet and the cabinets were approximately 40 (visible) -41" (with crown attached). Since they are inset cabinets the crown is attached to the top rail of the cabinetry. Thanks for your question!

      The flooring was already in place before we started the remodel so unfortunately I don't have the manufacturer or specification information.

      Thanks for your question! The kitchen is 102 3/16" wide by 104 11/16" to the dining room side of the half wall at the end of the kitchen.
