What type of drapes or curtains for long thin windows.

This is in my dining room. There are 5 long thin windows and there is a small curve, so I can't hang a rod straight across. Not sure what to put here.

Here is a rendering showing a custom rod, curved to follow the shape of the wall, with a drapery panel on each segment of wall. These panels can be dressed in a very narrow manner, in order to cover only the spaces between windows. I have also attached a photo of a drapery panel fabricated in that manner. This style of panel is perfect for narrow spaces between windows and when minimal window coverage is preferred in order to preserve a pretty view outside. The panel photo is from Joyce Hernandez, who created the "starfish" panel, specifically for narrow spaces such as yours.

The panel can be hung from the rod or from a medallion (as shown) or a hook on the wall.

I love those windows. If privacy isn't an issue I'd take those blinds off and leave them uncovered. If privacy is an issue, I'd still remove the blinds, hang curtains to hang on each side of the group of windows & only close them when the privacy is needed. I love big windows & my opinion is they should not be covered if they don't have to be. I'm no pro but that's my thoughts

Here is another rendering which shows a curved rod with a drapery panel on the outer edges only, and the panel and rod wraps around the outer corner of the wall, which allows the panel to be wider without encroaching on the window, and is a great way to frame the window. The attached photo is from a talented colleague of mine, Carlette Cormier, in Savannah, GA. I loved this treatment that she created and it is a great option for your window arrangement.

I guess the same would go for my bay area windows. These are 10ft ceilings. Should the curtain rod start at the top of the wall or a few inches above the windows? Do you think it would look weird if the curtain panels were different colors? Like the outside 2 one color the the next ones in another color and the middle panels another color?
