To paint or not to paint kitchen cabinet doors

I would like to change the color of my kitchen cabinets....have received quotes to repaint them and others have told me that I should consider replacing all of the cabinet doors and have someone paint the remaining parts. The new doors will hold up better than several coats of paint on the old ones will show cracks more quickly. Thoughts please??

If you are happy with the style of your cabinet doors and they are in good condition, then I would not replace them. Just have everything painted.

HI -- A professional paint job should last a very long time . If you like the style, then you shouldn't change them .Only if the quality is good . When that paint job starts to wear out ,it will be time to get a new kitchen anyway. Just make sure your not spending good money on a style that is already out of style or is in poor shape . And make sure of the hardware positions and style so the holes can be filled before painting.
