Hi Charlie,
I love the floors and finish (as a lot of people do) and plan to use them on a new project. I'm curious to find out a few more details. Specifically how the Monocoat product stands up vs poly? Do your clients have concerns vs traditional finishes? and what Monocoat product or effects you use to get this result?
Thank you!

The main difference is the look (sheen) of oil vs. poly. Oil has a mat finish, where poly will have a polished feel to it.

The only concern is that in high water use areas, such as around the sink in the kitchen, water marks will appear if you don't wipe right away. Over time, it wicks itself out, but nonetheless some clients don't care for the hassle.

The finish is Rubio Monocoat. The issues were related to two primary things not water spots but, rather, the caustic cleaners. Rubio Monocoat actually will not water spot but cleaning agents with caustic chemicals (ether, bleach, ammonia etc) will create an issue. Still it is readily repairable.
