My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    What kind of wood is that and size, stain? Thanks.

    Hi. The wood is 2 1/4" rift-sawn white oak flooring - full lengths so that there are no joints in the pieces. It's got a light pickling-type stain on it - we worked directly with the flooring guys to come up with the exact formulation on site.

    Such a clean and warm concept with the wood and the whole renovation. Could you instruct me a little bit on ow this is suspended? What information can you share on the support system to hang this wood ceiling and wall? Many thanks!

    Hi there. Thanks for your question. The support system is a pretty simple wood structure that was screwed into the wall and ceiling framing that was there already. We used furring strips to create a gap between the wood panels and the wall/ceiling so they would appear to float a little bit.
