Lights?

We are going to be remodeling a kitchen in the next year. We bought a house and slowly remodeling it. The upper cabinets over the peninsula are coming out. So, we were going to do pendant lights there. I found a small chandelier in the attic. Do you think it would be too much to have a chandelier over breakfast nook and pendant lights in this area?

HI -- Sounds like a plan . I think the chandelier is a charming idea . The pendants I'm not sure about . If it is a small kitchen I usually don't like too many light fixtures hang down . Maybe just let the chandelier be the star . You will have to stand back and see what you think about how much you want hanging down . It might be too much visual clutter .
