We recently purchased a house in Alexandria, VA and since moving in, we've spoken with several different designers, renovation companies and contractors about painting our kitchen cabinets. They're really nice cabinets so we don't want to rip them out but we hate the wood grain and color (honey), and just want them painted an antique white. Everyone that we've called either told us the cabinets can't be painted or they've given us an estimate of well over $10K to do it! Were open to ideas/suggestions and or references so please HELP!
