What is the rest of the room like? Post more pictures if you can so people can help you.

Since I have no idea what the rest of the room is like, it's hard to know what to suggest other than to use the wall for furniture. Can you rearrange so that the TV is over there?

One of the main things that gives a room warmth and personality in my opinion is having some artwork on the walls. You can put up posters, or whatever you like. It just needs something with some color.

Art is always a winner, find prints or better yet, support a local artist's if you can. If you can get one big piece of art, that's all you need.
